Antidotum is a contemporary fashion brand with a refined, editorial aesthetic — clean white space, high-quality product photography, and a monochrome palette punctuated by bold typographic statements. The brief was to design and build a premium e-commerce website that matched the brand’s minimalist identity while delivering a seamless shopping experience across desktop and mobile.
Fashion e-commerce is one of the most competitive spaces online. The site needed to do two things simultaneously: feel like a high-end editorial platform (to justify the price point and reinforce brand trust) and convert browsers into buyers through frictionless navigation, fast product discovery, and a clean checkout flow.
Balancing visual impact with commercial functionality — without one compromising the other — was the core design challenge.
The design led with whitespace and typography, giving the product photography room to breathe on every page. A full-width hero format was used across category pages, with an editorial-style grid layout for product listings that prioritised image quality over data density.
The colour palette was deliberately restrained — black, white, and soft neutrals — ensuring the clothing itself remained the visual focus at all times.
The WooCommerce build included custom product page layouts with multiple image views, size guides, and related product recommendations. The navigation was structured to support seasonal collections, new arrivals, and sale categories without overwhelming the user.
Mobile was treated as a first-class experience, with touch-friendly product galleries and a streamlined mobile checkout.
